Miles for Smiles Victoria 2012
16th, 17th & 18th May
After its incredible success in 2011 when it was run for the first time, Miles for Smiles Victoria continues this year, in association with The Geelong Hospital and The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, and with financial and in kind support from Cadbury and Marriott Hotels and Resorts (in particular Melbourne Marriott Hotel). Support also from Source Direct, Turi Foods, GMHBA Healthcare and Commonwealth Bank will again ensure a successful event over a condensed time frame!!!
All donations to MfS Vic are generously dollar matched by Cadbury to $50,000!!
The event will launch in Geelong on Wednesday, 16 May and will finish at The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne on Friday, 18 May.

MILES FOR SMILES TASMANIA 2012

Again this year, Cadbury sponsored the "Miles for Smiles" walk from Burnie to Hobart, a 340km trek that raised more than $70,000 -much needed funds that will help keep Clown Doctors in Tasmanian Hospitals. Every dollar donated was dollar matched by Cadbury!!!
In the last 6 years the event has helped raise over $500,000 for The Humour Foundation!
The walk, which started at North West General Hospital in Burnie, finished on Saturday 31st of March at The Royal Hobart Hospital. Renowned television presenter and Clown Doctors' ambassador Jo Palmer officially closed the event in Hobart and was joined by Lord Mayor Alderman Damon Thomas, Clown Doctors, Freddo Frog, Cadbury employees and special guests who helped celebrate the conclusion of the event.
Besides Cadbury, Miles for Smiles was supported by: Commonwealth Bank, Southern Cross Media, Coates Hire, Schweppes and other local businesses.
